Australian bridal designers

We would love to take you on a journey with us to have a look at our favourite Australian bridal designers. The designer’s we have selected to showcase are unique and will appeal to a vast myriad of brides-to-be. Whether you love the dramatic ballroom gown or a rustic laced slip dress; our home-grown Aussie designers have the answer to your wedding dress prayers!

We firstly have Steven Khalil, a NSW local whose designs glitter the red carpet in Hollywood and adored by big name celebrities (the Kardashian family for one!). His style is typically bold statement pieces with structured waistlines. A bride looking to purchase a dress from him has two options to choose from; either a Steven Kahlil house collection dresses or a “breathtaking one of a kind” couture gown which he personally designs with each individual bride in mind. These dresses have huge wow factors and are all hand beaded… but beware, you won’t be paying for peanuts for these; his dresses average around the $14k mark – better start saving now! stevenkhalil.com

Grace Loves Lace is a Gold Coast grown brand who specialises in beautiful French lace. The fit is usually really feminine, flowing with beautiful and intricate lace patterns which are adored by all whimsical bohemian brides. The designers here tend to avoid boning in their dresses for a more relaxed and breathable fit (yay, slice of cake anyone?). They design especially for the free spirited bride who shuns tradition and craves the unique. graceloveslace.com.au

Last but certainly not least we would love to introduce Mariana Hardwick. They design with the contemporary bride in mind. You won’t find too many traditional designs here! Hailing from Melbourne, this designer knows how to navigate the modern trends and weave pure magic for the beautiful bride to be. They even sell detachable wings (OMG)!! Count us in! Their beautiful website has loads of “real brides” for lots of inspiration.  marianahardwick.com.au
